1. How does MyWrinkles work?

2. Can I use MyWrinkles on scars? Myscar on wrinkles?

Technically, yes—but we wouldn’t recommend it.

Both MyWrinkles and Myscar.® are made from 100% medical grade silicone, but they are manufactured differently, and that makes all the difference in how they perform.

MyWrinkles is designed specifically for use on smooth, delicate areas of the face—where fine lines and wrinkles tend to form. Because facial skin is more sensitive, especially around the eyes and mouth, our Forever Fresh patches are made thicker to support gentle compression, but also to allow for easy, comfortable removal without tugging. They don’t need to mould to uneven surfaces, which is why a firmer structure works well.

However, that same thickness makes MyWrinkles unsuitable for scar treatment. Scars—especially indented or raised ones—often appear on irregular, textured, or healing skin. These areas require a silicone that is ultra-thin, flexible, and able to conform closely to the skin’s surface. Myscar.® was designed precisely for that purpose: to stay in place, move with your body, and provide targeted support to damaged or healing skin.

In short:

MyWrinkles is too thick and heavy for effective scar treatment—it simply won’t adhere well or deliver the results you are after.
Myscar.®, while perfect for scars, is too thin to offer the structured compression needed for fine lines and wrinkles.
Each has its own purpose, and each is formulated to do that job exceptionally well.

3. Can I wash MyWrinkles patches?

Yes! All of our patches are washable.
Simply rinse with warm water, and if you'd like, you can use a gentle, non-perfumed soap. We recommend washing your patches every 2–3 uses to keep them clean and performing at their best.

Let them air-dry with the adhesive side up, then reapply to the storage sheet for future use.

4. Do MyWrinkles expire?

No! The way in which they are manufactured are not subject to a shelf life - so long as they are stored well, your patches can be kept and reused 15-20 times.

6. How much is shipping?

We dislike shipping costs as much as you! However, by offering a more affordable price point on our products, we need to charge for shipping. Standard shipping (non-rural) within New Zealand is $5, rural is $8. But if you spend over NZ$69, shipping is FREE! So instead of buying one - buy two?...

7. Are the patches pregnancy and breastfeeding safe?

Yes. Our silicone is a safe, non-toxic, non-invasive, drug free way to improve the appearance fine lines and wrinkles while you are pregnant or breastfeeding (and generally!). Our silicone is hypoallergenic.

8. Do you ship to Australia?

Yes! Standard shipping is $15 - FREE shipping when you spend over NZ$130. So instead of buying one - buy four?...

9. What is your returns and refunds policy?

Unopened MyWrinkles products can be returned for refund or exchange within 14 days. For further details, please see our full refund & return policy HERE.

10. What are the instructions of use?

First, clean skin - free of any products. Second, remove patch from packaging and gently apply to targeted area. Press firmly and smooth with fingers removing any air bubbles. Third, for maximum benefit leave on overnight; or 1-2 hours for a quick boost. Four, to remove gently peel patch from skin. We recommend washing your patch every 2-3 uses. Allow to air-dry. Lastly, place patch back on liner (storage case coming soon!) for next use. Use consistently for best results.

11. Which way do the eye patches go?

You can wear them either way! Our eye patches are designed to be flexible, so you can apply them in the way that best suits your needs. For a more traditional fit (as shown on our website), place the smaller end closer to your nose, with the wider end covering the outer eye area to target crow’s feet. Or flip them around — with the wider part near the inner eye to better address puffiness and dark circles. Both ways work, it's just about what feels best for you!

12. How often do you wear the patches? Is it an every night thing or a few times a week?

You can wear our silicone patches as often or as little as you’d like. You’ll see improvements after each use, but the more consistently you wear them, the longer-lasting your results will be—just like any good skincare routine, consistency is key. They’re perfect for event prep, giving you dewy, smooth, glowy skin for flawless makeup application, or for everyday use to maintain smoother skin and longer-lasting results.

13. I currently use other products as part of my skincare routine, how do these patches work in with them?

You can continue with your normal skincare routine; however, if you’re applying moisturiser or oily serums, we recommend waiting until they’re fully absorbed. Otherwise, the silicone patches may not adhere properly and their longevity could be affected. For best results, apply the patches to clean, dry skin—many people even find they replace their moisturiser at night.
